The studio has had some attention. After a Sunday morning trip to Ikea (best time to go, no crowds yet) to purchase some Ivar, a couple of days spent with trash bags, and piles of stuff to step over, I have a studio again.
When Rich moved in, somehow the house did not expand. My art and fiber related materials can no longer be all over the downstairs because the bins of model trains need some space too.
Facing facts (no quilts made in how many years now???) I stored most of the hand-dyed fabrics in some stacking drawers on a shelf out of the way.
The yarn all fit nicely onto the new shelves.
The work table was split in two and opened up along the wall.
The floor is clear, the dust is gone, the trash disappeared, the space is inviting and bright. Hopefully now I will get to spend some time having fun in here.
